ABOUT US

Our Mission

Anne Arundel Women’s Golf Organization (AAWGO) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that promotes the game of golf to women and youth from many socioeconomic backgrounds. Through the game of golf, youths will become actively engaged in the social fabric of their community, derive direct health benefits that improve their quality of life and most importantly, have their lives enhanced by learning a different method of facing their demanding and challenging circumstances with enthusiasm and strength. Through grants, donations, volunteer services and in-kind gifts, we will lessen the burden of state and local governmental entities by providing necessary community services with compassion and understanding.

Our Vision

  • To become the leading women's golf organization in Anne Arundel County, and abroad. We will accomplish this through encouraging women and youth from all socioeconomic areas to play, enjoy and share with others the game of golf.

  • To become a women’s organization that encourages women of all ages to achieve their highest dreams with the game of golf.

  • To become an organization that promotes self-confidence, self development, higher education, self edification and continuous training to under privileged women and youth through the game of golf.

  • To create the next generation of women leaders and socialites, through positive interaction and learning the game of golf.
